Valarie looks nothing like her in-game portrait, so I made myself one to look at. The shading is a bit more Fates than Awakening, since those pop a bit more.

I have a fun project for myself to work on in between commissions.
There’s a bunch of missing details that I’ll be adding later, but this will do for now. Her clothes and bangs have changed slightly but she’s still pretty similar to before.
I’ve missed Valarie. I’ve missed Fire Emblem Awakening in general, actually. I might replay it while on a trip to Mexico later this month.

Unfortunately, my anxiety disorder cost me my job and I’m running low on funds at the moment. I would have opened for more commissions sooner but my laptop seems to have finally given up until I can find and pay someone to properly repair it. In the meantime, I’m using a very old laptop we’ve had laying around the house, and made it usable enough to at least work on some commissions again. As always, older commissions will be finished, and I will continue to work on the new ones as well.
For now, I’ll only be doing one character per commission, so please keep that in mind!

If you don’t have the cash for a commission, don’t worry! Any signal boosting I can get is super duper appreciated.

Ordinarily, my full-time job eats up any significant amount of my… well… time. Near the beginning of December, though, my anxiety disorder flared up to the point that I couldn’t make it through more than a couple of days without an anxiety attack. I don’t know. Maybe everything that happened in 2016 chipped at my nerves. Glad THAT year is over.In any case, my current situation is that I’m on an unpaid leave of absence, which at the very least, still leaves me with access to my insurance.
For the time being, I’ve decided to open up commissions. Whether I’m working or not, I have bills to pay, and if I can’t go to work, I can at least do this much, and it’s easier to deal with my anxiety at home.
I know that it will eventually go back down to what I call “normal”, but until then, I’d appreciate any help that I can get, so that I don’t go completely broke. If you can’t commission something from me, a reblog is very much appreciated.

Nyx, the shiny female Rowlet I hatched recently. I don’t often draw Pokemon, and I haven’t drawn in a while in general, but I really wanted to give it a shot. Let’s hope I get to draw more in 2017 than I did in the latter half of 2016.
Posting on a new account for now. Apologies for being inactive. A bunch of things have kept me from drawing as much as I’d like but I didn’t want to disappear forever. I’ll make an update post soon.
